Dr.Kollapuri M is an economist with areas of interest and specialization in applied Economics, Econometrics, Game Theory, Money and Banking, International Trade, Micro and Macro Economics. He has completed his Ph.D. from the Center for International Trade and Development, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He holds teaching experience of more than four years in GGS Indraprastha University, Amity University, and VIT-AP University. He was a Junior and Senior Research Fellowship recipient between 2013 and 2017 from the University Grants Commission (UGC), India. His passion for Economics and his expertise in the field of econometrics make him a sought-after faculty. As per research concerns, his well-known publication that is tilted “is the Acquirer more Efficient than Target? An Empirical Study from Selected Bank Consolidation in India” and “Bank Consolidation and Efficiency: An Empirical Study from India. He played a vital role in research as a coordinator and he was a coordinator of Ph.D. admission at VSB. Recently, he has conducted an FDP related to Basic Econometrics with R programming for scholars and faculty to gain more knowledge in that. Apart from that, his ongoing research works are titled “Impact of Bank Consolidation on Small Business Lending: An Empirical Study from Indian Commercial Banks” and “Public Debt Impacts Economic Growth: An Empirical Study from India.”
