Advertisement for the Post Doctoral Fellow
Applications are invited for the position of Post Doctoral Fellow at the Smart and Sustainable Materials Lab, Department of Civil Engineering, Ecole Centrale School of Engineering, Mahindra University for an industry funded project entitled “From Laboratory to Field: Investigating the Mechanical and Durability Behavior of Ultra High-Performance Concrete systems with Nanomaterials”. The shortlisted candidate will work with Dr. Sri Kalyana Rama Jyosyula, Prof. Visalakshi Talakokula, and Carborundum Universal Limited-Murugappa Group, Chennai. This is an excellent opportunity to work in area of nanomaterials and Ultra-high-performance concrete.
Job Title: Post-Doctoral Fellow – Ultra High Performance Concrete
Department: Civil Engineering
Location: Hyderabad
Project: Smart and Sustainable Materials Lab
Duration: 1 year
Fellowship: Rs. 57,000 p.m. + 24% HRA or 57,000 pm with food and accommodation.
Qualifications:
1) Ph.D. in Civil Engineering or Materials Science or a related field with a strong focus on material characterization, special concrete, and nanomaterials.
2) Strong background in experimental testing methodologies related to concrete with higher strengths.
3) Experience in laboratory-based testing, data analysis, and interpretation.
4) Excellent communication and writing skills required for research reports, publications, and presentations.
5) Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
