Faculty position in Structural Engineering

Mahindra University Invites applications for the Faculty position in Structural Engineering:

Department: Civil Engineering
Duration: Full time
Location: Hyderabad, Telangana.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum first class or equivalent.
Master’s and Ph.D. in Structural Engineering.

Required / Desirable skills:

1. The candidate is expected to teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the relevant discipline
2. Must have demonstrated interest in any one of the specific areas mentioned below as evidenced by publications in peer-reviewed journals
3. Expected to work on evolving curriculum and establish laboratories as necessary.
4. Should be interested in writing research projects and collaborating with industry partners.

Required expertise areas:

• Computational Mechanics
• AI and ML Applications in Structural Engineering
• Expertise in the design, analysis, and behavior of steel structures.
• Fire Engineering, including fire-resistant materials, structural response to fire, and safety consideration.
