About Us: Centre for Life Sciences and Interdisciplinary Centre for Nanosensors and Nanomedicine at Mahindra University have major focus towards translational research. The centre is also active in advanced experimental research with groups working in the area of bio-based products/platforms development, discovery of novel biomarkers and development of efficient biosensors.
Position Overview: You would work on a project problem with significant impact on public health. As a member of project team, you will contribute to Biodots and Carbon Quantum Dots synthesis, nanoparticle formulation and characterization, cell culture-based 2D and 3D evaluation and further validation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cell Culture
- Nanoparticle preparation and characterization
- Visiting collaborating hospitals in Hyderabad for patient sample collection
- Nanoparticle evaluation in 2D and 3D cell culture and patient’s cancer sample
Qualifications:
BS/B.Tech/BS-MS (Dual Degree) or M.Tech. having qualified CSIR-NET/GATE or selection process through national level examinations conducted by DST/DBT/ICMR/IIT/IISc/IISER/ NIPER etc.
Required Skills:
- Experience in cell culture
- Basic understanding of Biochemistry and Cell and Molecular Biology
