Overview:
Mahindra University’s Civil Engineering Department is seeking a highly experienced professional to join as a Professor of Practice specializing in Construction Planning and Management. This position focuses on leveraging extensive industry expertise to contribute to academic excellence, including teaching, mentoring, and fostering research activities.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized courses in Construction Planning and Management, focusing on practical applications and industry relevance.
- Establish strong linkages with the construction industry to align academic outcomes with practical requirements.
- Guide students in applied research projects, internships, and real-world problem-solving.
- Provide academic and career mentoring to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Work collaboratively with faculty and staff to drive research output and innovative teaching practices.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in Construction Planning and Management.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Master’s degree in Construction Planning and Management.
- D. is desirable but not mandatory.
Minimum 10 years of industry experience in the construction sector, with demonstrated expertise in construction planning, project management, and execution.
