Dr. Jyotirmay Das from the School of Media at Mahindra University presented a paper as part of the Community Communication and Alternative Media Section at the International Association for Media and Communication Research (IAMCR 2024), hosted by the University of Canterbury in Otautahi Christchurch, New Zealand.

His paper, titled “Communicating Identity Through Ethnic Festivals in the Goalpara Region (Assam, India),” focused on why and how the underrepresented communities of western Assam communicate their identities.
