Mahindra University recently hosted Prof. Theo Farrell, Vice-Chancellor of La Trobe University, along with Prof. Stacey Farraway, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, and other distinguished members of their team. The meeting was incredibly insightful, delving into potential synergies between both the institutions and laying the groundwork for expanding collaborations beyond our existing 2+2 dual degree program with the Civil Engineering Department at MU.

Prof. Theo and his team were deeply impressed by the innovative initiatives happening at MU, particularly our work at the Smart and Sustainable Materials Lab. They expressed admiration for our research endeavors, including the development of patented products like wall panels developed from recycled materials. Additionally, they commended our vibrant startup ecosystem at Mahindra e-Hub and AIC MU, as well as our cutting-edge CLS labs.

Both Mahindra University and La Trobe University share a common vision of tackling global challenges through interdisciplinary research and nurturing the next generation of leaders.
