Dr. Manu Smriti Singh, Associate Professor at Mahindra University Centre for Life Sciences, has been awarded the prestigious POWER research grant of ₹30 Lakhs from Anusandhan National Research Foundation- ANRF (previously Department of Science and Technology, Government of India). The project is in collaboration with Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and IIT-BHU.

Dr. Singh’s project titled “Image Guided Surgery Using Fluorescent Bionanodots Probes for Surgical Resection of Metastatic Cancers” will focus on the synthesis and physicochemical characterization of nanomaterials, and their functional evaluation in cell lines and patient tumoroids for harnessing diagnostics and therapeutic potential.
