Prof. Sanjeev Kumar Choudhry has been awarded ICMR grant for his project

Mahindra University is delighted to announce that Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Choudhry, Assistant Professor at the Mahindra University Centre for Life Sciences, has been awarded a prestigious Indian Council of Medical Research grant for his transformative project, “Investigating the Role of Surface Adhesion Proteins in Fungal Pathogenesis and Evaluating Their Potential for Aptamer-Based Biosensor Development.”
With a sanctioned budget of Rs. 90,33,731 over three years, this initiative promises to deliver critical insights into fungal mechanisms, catalyzing the development of innovative biosensor technologies for early diagnosis.
By bridging fundamental research with practical applications, the project is poised to significantly enhance disease management and contribute to improved healthcare outcomes.
