Anuja started her career with Marg Publications as an Assistant Copy Editor and progressed to Senior Editor at Business Computer at Sterling Newspapers, Mumbai. She continued to contribute articles for Marg, the India Magazine and the Indian Express Weekend over the years.
Overview
She currently owns and manages a Coffee and Pepper plantation in Kodagu and Sukhalay Homestays – Serviced Homes at two locations in India. With a deep-rooted desire to make a significant contribution to society, Anuja has been actively involved with Atma Darshan Yogashram in Bengaluru, which is affiliated to the Bihar School of Yoga in Munger, besides being associated with Nightingales Lifesaving Services, an NGO that promotes Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation and Lifesaving Training Courses in Bengaluru. She also maintains a keen interest in spirituality and metaphysics, fine and performing arts, animal welfare and environmental concerns. Anuja holds a Degree in Liberal Arts from the Wellesley College, Massachusetts (USA) from where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa and a Master of Arts (Sociology) from the University of Mumbai. In her career spanning over 30 years, she has also organised workshops for arts, craft, spiritual studies and Indian mythology for children.
