Ashok Panwalkar
Visiting Professor
Ashok Panwalkar finished his Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and began his career by working briefly in Almonard Engineering Pvt. Ltd. Company. In the educational sector, Panwalkar has made significant contributions. He was a founding member and Head of Studies at Rubika India, a French design college. His association with MITID includes roles on the Board of Studies and conducting Masterclasses, while he has been part of the Faculty Interview Panel at MITPU. Additionally, he has served on the Faculty Interview Panel and as a jury member at Symbiosis Institute of Design.
His past roles also include being an Adjunct Faculty for Industrial Design at COEP and participating in juries and workshops at the Industrial Design Centre, IIT Mumbai. Panwalkar is a member of the Advisory Committee at the Exploratory Science Centre (Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan) and has mentored teams at SPARKLE, a hardware hackathon sponsored and organized by KPIT and the Ministry of Education.

I had done People research, Qualitative research for all of Philips Products that I designed (More than 100 products)as the Research is an important phase of Product creation Process.
At Philips we did extensive research on Indian culture, architecture, fashion to predict future trends in Products and behavior of consumers-This Project was assigned by Philips Design ,Netherlands.
