Dr. Subbarao Boddu joined the institute in July, 2017. He received his Ph.D. from IIT Kharagpur, West Bengal and M. Tech. from NIT Tiruchirappalli, Tamilnadu in 2014 and 2006 respectively. He has more than 12 years of teaching experience. He teaches courses on the areas of Electrical, Electronics and Communication Engineering at both UG and PG levels. He is pursing research on implementation aspects of 5G and beyond systems. His research interests include 5G and beyond MAC and PHY layers such as frequency planning/reuse schemes, resource allocation, scheduling algorithms, cognitive radio, dynamic spectrum access, MIMO, development of testbed for 4G/5G and beyond, and deep learning for wireless communications. He is a senior member of IEEE, Fellow of IETE, Fellow of IE(I) and life member ISTE. Currently, he supporting as teaching assistant for the video course “Evolution of Air Interface towards 5G” coordinated by IIT Kharagpur under the NPTEL, a project of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India initiated by seven IITs and Indian Institute of Science to provide the quality education to any interested in learning.
