Dr. Nazia Akhtar is a distinguished legal professional with a robust academic background and expertise in the field of law. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Law from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), where she also served as a Senior Research Fellow. Her research, titled “Witness Protection under Indian Criminal Justice System: A Study,” reflects her deep commitment to enhancing the legal framework in India. r. Akhtar’s academic journey is marked by notable achievements, including qualifying for the UGC NET Junior Research Fellowship, and being awarded several scholarships, such as the Post Graduate Merit Scholarship by AMU. She has published numerous research papers and articles in esteemed journals, covering a wide range of legal issues, from witness protection to human rights abuses in overcrowded prisons. In addition to her academic accomplishments, Dr. Akhtar has gained valuable professional experience through her roles as an Assistant Professor at institutions like NMIMS, Hyderabad, Presidency University, Lovely Professional University, etc. She has also worked as an intern at the Supreme Court of India and RLEK.
