My research focus is on manufacturing science, especially CAD/CAM, developing predictive models, flexible and hybrid manufacturing processes, fatigue testing of materials, sustainable/circular manufacturing, and finite element analysis (FEA). Extensively worked in the area of sheet metal forming especially Double-Sided Incremental Forming (DSIF) process with a major focus on tool path planning (CAD/CAM), inducing the favorable residual stresses by varying the support tool force that enhances the mechanical properties (tensile and fatigue) as well as accuracy, and sustainable manufacturing at process level.
