Throughout her academic and professional journey as a law student, Ms.Renu Kushram has dedicated herself to understand the intersection of law and society. Her involvement as a law student has included roles in the Legal Aid Cell, as a Teaching Fellow, and working with a child orphanage. She has actively participated in educating children and women in nearby villages through the PULER (People United for Law, Education, and Rehabilitation) student body at NLIU, Bhopal. Additionally, she has contributed to animal welfare initiatives and served as the Sports Secretary at NLIU for five years.
Ms. Kushram’s ongoing academic and professional focus is on serving underprivileged communities, particularly women, children, and tribal groups, with an emphasis on health and overall empowerment. She is passionate about environmental law and its role in protecting biodiversity and traditional knowledge related to indigenous communities, aligning with sustainable living practices. To further this passion, she is pursuing a Ph.D. in environmental law and have been involved in designing an Environmental Law diploma course at NALSAR under the guidance of K. Vidyullatha Reddy. Moreover, she is engaged with various animal welfare NGOs, supporting animal adoption, fostering indie breeds, and promoting peaceful coexistence between humans and animals.
