Shikha Verma

• Shikha is a data scientist at PayPal, building fraud detection products for medium and large enterprises.
  Her She has a Ph.D. in Data Science from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A) with a strong background in Data Analytics, Machine Learning, and Applied Statistics. She has presented her research at various academic and practitioner conferences. She is an advocate for the participation of women in the Technology sector, was a Grace Hopper Scholar (2020), and has been an invited speaker at the Women in Machine Learning (WiML) event. She has mentored multiple individuals on breaking into Data Science through seminars and 1:1 sessions. She has served as a visiting faculty for courses on AI, ML, and business analytics across management & technology institutes in India.
