Finance research lab
The Finance Research Lab is a state-of-the-art facility designed to support advanced research in finance. The lab enables innovative and collaborative work in the analysis of financial markets, investment strategies, and economic trends.
The lab provides access to specialised tools such as the Bloomberg Terminal and NSE simulation software, supporting data-driven financial research and market analysis.
The Bloomberg Terminal is a comprehensive financial data and news platform that provides real-time information on financial markets, investments, and economic developments. It also offers advanced analytical tools, including charting, technical analysis, and financial modelling, allowing researchers to analyse financial data, identify trends, and test investment strategies.
The NSE simulation software replicates a live trading environment based on the National Stock Exchange (NSE). It provides real-time market data, news feeds, and trading tools that enable users to create virtual portfolios, execute trades, and monitor performance. The platform offers a practical, risk-free environment where students and researchers can experiment with trading strategies and evaluate investment hypotheses.
The industry advisory board
The School of Management is dedicated to transforming teaching and learning to develop students who can change the world for the better. The Industry Advisory Board has been formed for ensuring that the curriculum is not only academically rigorous, but industry relevant. The IAB members will guide us in fine tuning the curriculum and course contents and in suggesting ways in which the classroom learning can be enriched through industry internships and projects where students can apply what they have learnt in the different courses.
